Rising Star Interpretation

I love light. I love what light does to me and what it does to everything it touches. I love how unique light and its features are. I love how it is always there, even when it is not.

Isn't it brilliant that the essential thing to photographing light is light itself?

A couple of months ago I attened to a Youth Church 'celebration' which had a theme about the REAL age of the Earth. The seminar (for lack of better term) was awesome enough as it was, but there was much more to learn.

Just recently, as I was cleaning my room, I found a folder that I had taken home from that very celebration. It showed a list of DVD's one could watch with themes such as Noah's Ark, dangers of evolution theory, and dinosaurs and the bible. These DVD's are made by people who call what they do 'Creation Science Evangelism'.

I went to our church's library this morning to see if they had these DVD's available and they did! I just finished watching the one about dinosaurs and the bible and I am so excited right now!
Everything just makes so much sense, and the speaker, Dr. Kent Hovind, tells his story with so much charm and humor and has an insane amount of research and experience and knowledge to back up his claims. Everything of course is in line with the Bible.

Usually when I'd see something like this, I would feel paranoid or freaked out (some things can be eerily convincing, even when they are false, like alien conspiracies :giggle: ) but this just filled me with joy of recieving God's truth.

It is a very complete story, one that goes pretty far and is intertwined with stories such as Noah's Ark.

Call me crazy, but I'm believing every word I heard right there and I would love to learn more :D At the same time it puts the world we know today in a strange light. Why do people reject the proof that is before them. Why do we still teach theories in schools that have NO factual base whatsoever?
The Christians among you will probably agree with me when I say I think it is because of the spiritual warfare that is going on, and has been going on for a long time.
People don't want God to be in the equation, and Satan has used cunning ways to make people see the world, the way we see it today.

I am so glad to know God, and who He is and what He can do. Seeing this DVD just added another piece to the puzzle and it is exciting indeed.
All I can do is say, "man, we have a great God!" I am in awe :D

I'm going to have to catch up on some reading now :D My modern translation of the bible completely fails in so many ways, but I need to see if what I've learned today is really in line with the Bible. :D I believe it is, 100%, but I must check it anyway :D (as a smart person would do).

If you are interested I would strongly recommend watching Dr. Kent Hovind's series of DVD's. :glomp:
