Artist's Comments Title:"Vexor Star Cluster"For:Project Dragonstorm (copyright by René Mulder a.ka. Ray Falling)Download for Wallpaper versions (1024/768 and 1280/960) Like I said before, I can't resist using my sky pictures for space scenes  . This is a project related item, though it doesn't have a particular purpose yet.The scene before us is the centre part of the galaxy where "project Dragonstorm" plays in. After the last big war between the races, the galaxy came close to collapsing yet again. The Elemental balance was way off and the Dragons were not ready to revive the worlds afterwards. Meaning everyone would die and they'd never get another chance to try again, to make that perfect system of worlds and creatures, to fulfill their destiny. Before everything fell to pieces, the Dragon of the Heat Element sacrificed some of its power to create an extra sun; the Vexor Star, to keep the worlds from being pushed out of bounds by the warped gravitational forces. They would use this temporal solution to stall the inevitable, untill the world guardians were ready to revive the Dragons in their full glory. In the system we have 3 additional planets, 2 can be seen in this image. One of them is a prison moon, while the other a dangerously vulcanic planet, where Trilon metal is up for grabs. The 3rd planet, Storm, now controlled by the Daine (the dinosauric creatures as can be found in Scraps) is always on the exact other side of the Vexor Star. --- --- --- |
